Tapok - What is it?

The Kagay-anon International Tapok is the most exciting gathering of Kagay-anons in North America that draws other Kagay-anons from all over the world.  With beginnings in 1982 in Chicago, Illinois. The event is organized by Kagay-anon International, supported and promoted by the Philippine Department of Tourism, Region 10, the City of Cagayan de Oro and the Province of Misamis Oriental.
WHO IS A KAGAY-ANON?
A Kagay-anon is anyone who was born or studied, worked, or lived in the City of Cagayan de Oro and the Province of Misamis Oriental, or a descendant of a Kagay-anon or affiliated to a Kagay-anon by marriage or by love.
